M5 fenders on non M5 question
Hey guys,
I was interested in doing M5 fenders on my lci 550i, but i was curious to know if the M sport front bumper would fit? My main goal is for the front fenders to be wider, I honestly quite like the M sport front bumper and I would love to keep it and just swap the fenders. I also keep reading that the washer fluid reservoir would require modification, does anyone have an experience/tips? And given it's LCI, will the turn signal vents work? Thanks a bunch! |

If you are getting all OEM parts, you will also need M5 bumper and fender liners for it to line up properly. I believe there are some aftermarket fenders that have the same M5 looks but will allow you to use your existing bumper.
Fender light can be retrofitted to work just like M5 even if your vehicle is LCI. You will have to run two wires. Keep in mind, fender grill with lights are expensive as well. PM me if you need, I do have a pair of fender grill with lights. |

My thing about going aftermarket is that I want to ensure they'll be as wide as OEM M5 fenders, but I would imagine that I would still need the fender liners right?

You might have to check with the seller and see. I doubt it is wider like OEM M5 just because M5 front bumper is wider as well so it wouldn't line up properly with 5 series bumper. It's basically a regular 5 series fender with a hole for the grille
