Floor mats are usually standard for any F10/F11. Usually being the operative word - they are sold separately so there is the odd dealer here and there that doesn't offer 'em with the car.

However, if the dealer thought they didn't make enough profit, they might ry to sell them. Still, you can argue to get them for free. If it doesn't work, you can find them around 100. Check this site, where I got my cargo area protector. http://bmw.dealerfit.com/store/bmw-5...t1389_3410.php

Carpeted mats are standard. I just bought a set of rubber mats (front only) from Tischer BMW for ~$69.00

IM pretty sure he's talking about ALL WEATHER floor mats which are not standard. I think you're getting jipped. I'd give him no more that $120 front and back.

^^^ Not in Canada (as confirmed with BMW Canada).
However, dealer will put in floor mats regardless at no extra cost. Some dealers will give both carpet & all season rubber wheras some will only give either one. |

Yeah BMW Toronto only gave me the all weather mats, not the carpeted ones, anyone know a place to buy carpeted OEM mats cheaper?

Not sure how much is the shipping. You have to call/email the person (bottom of the page) to verify. I usually order my parts from BMW Bloomfield (NJ) as they can ship everything by USPS (if requested with shipping instruction prior to ordering) and never paid a penny in brokerage fees & Canadian taxes & duties when delivered. |

Did they mark anything on the package to help it slide through customs? |

Based on BMW Bloomfield shipping experience I had, they usually include the invoice inside the shipping box and most of the purchases I made usually were below $200 range, I guessed Cda Customs decided to let it go without any duties & taxes imposed on the package. btw, if I remembered correctly, using USPS cost only $10 for relatively small package.
Perhaps, the key is to keep below a few hundred $ to avoid taxes. Last edited by bobblehead; 01-11-2012 at 05:06 PM.. |
