The physical dimensions of different tire manufacturer's products may vary for a given tire size. In some cases minor trimming of the fender well lip may be required due to vehicle production tolerance variations.

Dinan's Performance Spring set for the F10 550i provides greater control over body roll by virtue of carefully calibrated spring rates. Additionally, Dinan lowers the vehicle by a 1/2" in front and 1/2" in the rear for improved suspension geometry and an even more aggressive stance. The Dinan springs are CNC wound with high tensile chrome silicon wire and shot peened for stress relief to last the life of the car. The increase in stiffness of the springs will reduce the rear suspension compression under acceleration and front suspension compression (or dive) under braking, giving your car a more controlled feel. The Dinan performance springs will also provide a noticeable improvement in grip, for high speed driving situations that will inspire confidence in your car's capabilities. The reduced body roll makes the steering more responsive to driver input and will be noticed at low speeds up to the top speed of the vehicle.

Negative Camber Control Arms provide a remarkable reduction of understeer and more immediate turn-in by inducing more negative camber on the front wheels. The additional negative camber improves the grip of the front tires in the turns thus reducing the vehicle's tendency to "plow" or "push" the front end for those who drive a bit more aggressively. This increase in negative camber is accomplished in two ways. The shorter front upper control arm increases camber gain, which is the amount of negative camber that is created by the geometry of the suspension as the car rolls to one side. In addition the static negative camber or the amount you will see on your alignment read out is also increased. The combination of static and dynamic camber gain adds an increase in front grip when the tire is loaded.
