Hello all, i need strong opinion. Do i stick to OEM or go with other as Bosch, Powerstop, Zimmerman and such.
Brake dust is important but so is stopping power.

Zimmerman is OEM.

But, furthermore, after decades of being plagued by life with high dusting German OE brakes, I've found the factory (and genuine replacement) brakes on my 2011 535xi to be vritually dustless by comparison.

My F10 is still under factory warranty/maintenance so I haven't DIYed a brake job on this particular car yet, but my normal habit was do DIY with OEM/OES parts from a trusted supplier. I like the parts houses that give you multiple choices. I believe I gravitated to Textar pads and Zimmerman discs in the end. Also used Jurid pads and Balo discs.

I've never used anything aftermarket (PBR, EBC, Hawk, Raybestos etc...).

I believe oem is the right way. I saw tons of oem brake rotors and pads for cheap, much cheaper than bmw service.
