They used some conditioner that doesnt bond well or they didnt remove the excess. Nappa leather is soft and flat like. I use the chemical guys cleaner, conditioner, and serum and works great. Tell them that the leather was not properly treated and that it should be like that. Tell them you want a matte or subtle gloss to it. They should understand its a luxury sedan and the leather is of quality.

You could try getting a leather cleaner and apply some in a microfiber and see if it reduce the gloss/stickiness.

If you know what you are doing, use an All Purpose Cleaner (P21S TAW) would be my recommendation) and remove all the crap they put on your seats.

Then, retreat with whatever you were using before.

I love the fact that they told you that this is their best! Clearly, they have no idea what they are doing.

-Go ask, how come the interiors of their brand new cars detailed by the same i-ditios do not look shinny.

THIS! I wouldn't be surprised. if I were you I would just redo it myself. like gabypr mentioned above I would use Chemical Guys Leather Cleaner and Conditioner and/or similar products. sounds like the dealer didn't use a cleaner to remove any of the old conditioners and they probably just lathered new conditioner on top of the old which the leather will not be able to absorb. that's the purpose of the cleaner...to allow the new conditioner to absorb in. I would use a brush to clean the leather like I have here...a horse hair brush...works fricken' awesome!

Your next experience: unless you're going to a luxury detail shop that specializes (read "takes time and charges a good sum") in car detailing, tell the service manager NOT to clean the interior. Happened to me once and never again.

I use Lexol cleaner and conditioner. No odor and leaves leather refreshed.
