Looking for the correct name/part number for this.

I replaced the spark plugs and when I pulled the plastic holder that holds the wires that runs across the top part of the engine I tore the insulation under that in half. I need to replace it. I can't find the true name for it or the part number. Looking for where I can find this insulation. Here is a picture of the plastic holder and you can see a small part of the insulation. I have a 2013 535i.

Not sure what you mean, can you put a red circle around the insulation? Cant find it

It’s sound insulation. Most likely part number 7 is damaged. I would not bother with it. It’s not an easy job from what I remember.

Thanks for the info. When I remove the insulation that was left the engine noise inside the car increased. Again thanks for the information.
