What size tires can I run on my car?.

Hello all,

So my 535i x-drive is dropped with the H&R springs and I am running the square setup of 19x8.5 all around.
Tires: 245/40/19

I will like to do a wider tire setup on the car specially the rear so I was wondering what size tires can I run in the rear without touching since the car is lowered.
I was thinking of running 255/35/19.

You mean on the 19x8.5 wheels? With xdrive, I'd stick to the same tire size front and rear if the wheels also are the same size.

Yes on the stock 19x8.5 wheels. I will like to do a little wider in the back. The tires look a little stretch so i want them to look some what flush with the rim and the body line of the car. I am not a fan of spacers but if that is what i have to do to make the car look like that then i guess i will have to go that route.

You can go with 255/40/19, but than you need to do so in the front.
Spacers will help with the tucked look.

There is only a 1% tolerance for xDrive so I would recommend getting the same tire size all around. Like remmib said, go with 255/40/19. That will only offset your speedometer by 1mph at 80mph. It will ride more smooth as well because your tire is a slightly thicker. I am considering doing this on my next set of tires.
