Hi all. First post although have read the forums for a while and found some really useful stuff.
Can't seem to find anything to clear this one up though.
I have a 2012 pre LCI F11 with cid head unit with navi etc. Have bought a 10" screen to replace current 6". I have bimmercode, and have read plenty of times you need to code the resolution to display size to match screen. However, i dont have DISPLAY_SCREEN_RESOLUTION on my expert mode. Is this because this wasn't an option on cid head unit? or is there another option i should be looking at to expand the screen. The screen is working, but only at the 6" size. So looks daft.
Any help on clearing this up would be hugely appreciated. Thanks

I checked with E-Sys my car HU_CIC coding options, and there is no separate coding value for display resolution (3000 HMI > DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTION= 10.25_1280x480, so this is for HU_NBT headunit).
Only screen coding option is this, so you should try code this value:
HU_CIC> 3001 EXBOX > DISPLAY_VARIANTE = breites_display
