F10 550xi Invoice Price & ED Pricing
I am planning to place a Euro delivery order for a F10 550xi and have done some research on pricing. Below is what I came up with based on reading several posts.
Invoice-USA - $57,500 Invoice-ED - $53,172 BaseMSRP-USA - $62,500 BaseMSRP-ED - $58,175 -- Disclaimer - Above was what I arrived at and may not be enitirely correct How I arrived at above figures: - Got the Base MSRP for US Delivery & Euro Delivery from a BMW dealer ( $62.5K and $58K respectively ) - Got the US Invoice Price from Nada site ( link http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2011/...dard-Equipment ) - Based on this looks like there is a 8.6% difference between the US Invoice and US MSRP - So I applied the 8.6% on the Euro Base MSRP and arrived at $53K Euro Invoice price Does anyone have any thoughts on whether what I have arrived at is more or less correct? So now I would like to make an offer to the dealer but don't want to be way off-base, so do you guys think if I offer $54K Base price for Euro Delivery of 550xi it should be a good starting point? Appreciate your thoughts! Last edited by Sam-F10; 02-27-2011 at 07:37 PM.. Reason: edit |

2) Before you start visiting dealer(s), read ED wiki @ bimmerfest. 3) Contact board sponsor dealers who knows ED well. You can buy/lease from any dealer in US unless you've a preference for a local dealer. I recommend Adrian Avila @ BMW of South Atlanta. He's straight forward and excellent. 4) If you're leasing, put multiple security deposits. It will save additional amount. Best, V |

I was hoping to get different quotes from dealers but use the dealer closest to me ( assuming he is able to match it ). Are there other drawbacks of going with a dealer who has not done lot of ED - as long as he matches the best ED price does it matter? As I am in NJ would prefer to work with any NJ dealers. In any case I will approach the BMW of South Atlanta that you referred for a quote. Thanks again for all the info. |

2) Mike Wendorff from BMW of Morristown is one of the board sponsors. I did not buy from him but you can try and compare with other quotes and see which one you like. 3) Do not forget to consider BMW tire/wheel insurance in case you order sports package/low-profile tires. 4) There is NO MACO or Training fee with ED. Remember! 5) Document fee varies but can't be an astronomical number, (<$300 reasonable). |
