Exclamation F10 5-series sedan M-Sport package revealed! Available September 2010.

From Homepage: We bring you the first official photos of the F10 5-series sedan M-sport aero kit! Shown in these photos is the F10 5-series with front M sport bumper, M-sport rear diffuser/bumper, sideskirts, two M-sport wheel options - the 18" double spoke 350M wheels or the 19" double spoke 351M wheels, and dark chrome tail pipes. The M-sport package may be ordered with seven exterior colors (in Europe), so we expect that there will be additional colors not currently available on the F10.

Inside, the M-sport package comes with sports seats, ///M steering wheel, anthracite roof liner, and special aluminum hexagon trim.

Expect an October release date in the US.

PRESS RELEASE + Expand

M Sports Package for the new BMW 5 Series Sedan and the new BMW 5 Series Touring.

The M Sports Package for the new BMW 5 Series Saloon and for the new BMW 5 Series Touring will be presented simultaneously in September 2010. The package, which was developed by the BMW M GmbH, comprises components that have been specifically adapted to match the suspension, the aerodynamics, and the exterior and interior design of each model. The M sports suspension, M aerodynamics package and 18-inch M light alloys featuring a double spoke design contribute towards enhanced driving dynamics and an exceptionally powerful appearance. Moreover, optionally available features include 19-inch M light alloys as well as an M rear spoiler for the saloon.

Sports seats featuring Alcantara / fabric upholstery especially developed for the M Sports Package give the interior a particularly sporting ambience. The upholstery’s exclusive character is underlined by high-grade materials, contrasting seams and the M emblem applied to the seat. Further interior features included in the M Sports Package comprise, inter alia, an M leather-clad steering wheel, an M gear lever knob, the M footrest, an anthracite BMW Individual roof lining and M aluminium hexagon interior trim strips.

the front and sides look great.
the rear is a nightmare..if I wanted a 335 M bumper, I would get a 335!

by the way, is that the ///M colors stiched on to the seat?

The seats are out of this world! I really like the cloth/alcantara look. Reminds me of the Aston Martin DBS.

+1. Although should you do something fancy with your exhaust on your own, replacing an insert is a lot cheaper than replacing the entire rear bumper!!

//M Sport steering wheel eh? Wonder if they will finally offer that steering wheel in a heated variety.

the rear looks ordinary

i think the mazda3 has the same exhaust type/size...

i hope some tuners like 3D will make something a bit more aggresive/or better looking

That front end definitely makes the care more aggressive. Like the side too and agree with the others that the rear is a bit muddled.

Even the Mazda 3 was not bobo enough to put those reflectors high up under the bumper like that. Come one BMW ... you're pretty good, why do you have to dish crap like that out to your customers?

Looks good for a sport package. Nothing too surprising but a good fit.

Ahhhhhhh that's exactly what the F10 needed; a faux diffuser insert and an aggressive bumper. The gurney lip helps too. I still think the wheels could go up an inch. I'm not digging BMW's new M-sport wheel styles at all.

The new-gen Mazda3 has the worst rear out of almost any new sedan out there. There's just way too much mass out back. And those reflectors are too low. They just make the rear look taller than it is.

The cloth and alcantara seats look awesome. If they had an option of that for the upcoming 1M or next-gen M3 I might really consider that option over leather. Looks wayyy better than the current speed-cloth on the M3 imo.

Everyone has there own comments and thoughts but I feel they have done a great job, made it more aggressive but not ruined it. Honestly once you see it in the flesh it will be a whole lot better.
