Needed: Replacing lowbeam Xenon D1S bulb

If anyone has a saved thread explaining step by step how to replace the lowbeam bulbs in the headlights I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

To change the D1S bulb, you have to do it thru the access panel inside the wheel well.

To make it easier, you need to turn the wheel out and you will see there is the access panel in the mid/upper front wheel well.

Using the screwdriver to unlock couple of screws of the access panel and now you are in the D1S bulb housing.

Open the housing and gain access to the bulb, twist counterclockwise and turn and it should come out.

Once out, unlock the bulb holder (black ring by pressing the tap down and it should open up) and take the stock bulb out and put in the new one.

Put back the new bulb in the housing and twist and turn, making sure it's locked in. That is.

Est. time to do one is approx 10 minutes

Note: If you have big hands, it's going to be somewhat harder because the D1S bulb housing is kind of small. (Reference, same size housing as the corning bulb inside the hood).
