Tpm errors :( wrong temp and pressure being reported by idrive

Hi all

I retrofitted active Tpms in my F10 lci 520d about 6 months ago, worked absolutely perfect with my summer wheels (original BMW sensors)

Fast forward to winter and after putting on my winter wheel set (original BMW sensors - known to have worked with a car of same year with Tpms) I get RDC failure and pressure low warnings!

The pressures are definitely correct, 2.3bar for front and 2.5bar for rear. (Confirmed with a petrol station air pump, my own 12v inflator and a tyre station filler too)

The idrive reports the pressure to be 1.3 and 1.5 and the temperatures to be 20c (bear in mind ambient is around 3c)

Does this sound like faulty wheel electronics or faulty RDC module?

Or is there something else really obvious I'm missing like calibration?

I have access to ista and esys, relatively comfortable using them.

Any help with this is massively appreciated. I rely on the Tpms a lot now to guide me on topping up pressures etc as I drive a lot on the motorway (600+miles per week)

Many thanks

Hi

Kinda glad I'm not the only one!

Because mine is retrofit tpm I'm going back to basics, I've ordered a new tpm receiver module which has a newer build date than my car (existing one with wrong readings is a 2012, car is 09/13, new module on its way is 05/14)

4 new sensors coming too.

It's easier for me to replace the receiver module so will try that first, if not will change wheel sensors.
