Yes, four weeks is about right. My recently delivered M3 was completed Sept 7th and I took delivery Oct 8th...
Congrats on the new 550! Nicely outfitted...

535i
My 535i was to be completed on the 28th, now they say 10/27 is the completion date. Hope it makes the 11/3 ship from Bimmerhaven! Mine was also moved earlier a week or two.

Mine finished yesterday 10/27, sales rep says 11/10 ship is most likely, I am still hoping for the 11/3 ship, one would think a week would be enough time to get it to port and on a ship.

Congrats on the early date. Mine still states with a completion date of 10/30 on the 800 number, hopefully completed yesterday. Hopefully mine will be on a ship the week of 11/08, maybe the 11/10 ship also. Let me know what vessel your on for the trek across the pond.

My 535i
BMW site now shows my vehicle as Awaiting Transport, it does not show up on W&W's site (though BMW uses other shipping companies) so that may be awaiting departure from the factory, any insights out there if it is waiting to leave the factory or port?
I will keep you posted. |

The W&W ships make a few to several stops between Bremerhaven and Newark, hence the long journey time. Best bet is to have your sales rep tell what vessel car is being put on, information on BMW site and W&W seems to often be quite delayed.

I'm still sittin' on the dock of the bay, watching the tide roll away. Haven't boarded a vessel yet, hoping by the end of the week. Hey bbmarkey - are you tracking the Manon? Where are ya? My salesman is updating me the beginning and end of each week. I'm still hoping by first or second week of December!!

Manon started making its way across the Atlantic last night, so it is not too far off the coast of Ireland. It docks in Newark, NJ on the 17th, I should have my car a few to several days later. 727jbh: you should get your car by the first week of December, maybe very end of November.

Mine should be in the Brunswick Port Sunday 11/28. Maybe the week of 12/06 is what I'm hoping for. Look forward in seeing your car. |

I picked my car up Tuesday afternoon, very nice pre-Thanksgiving event. Have not taken pics yet. It is a beautiful machine, though a good bit larger and more of a beast than my '02 530i. Hope your car arrives very soon.
