Got the grille. It doesn't quite fit... Took a bit of elbow grease but got it in flush. Put on some ///M color stickers to see what it would look like, liked it so I took it off the car and to my vinyl guy to get the ///M colors put on them. Will post pics in a hours.

Did you use the grab and pull method or did you unscrew stuff?
UPDATE: Nevermind. Just grab one side and pull straight out! With a hot car it comes out like butter! Last edited by Simple5; 12-09-2014 at 08:14 PM.. |

Nevermind.. got it.. wife is still getting ready (women...) so I decided to do this real quick. The grill is a great fit. Takes a little jimmying with the brackets to get it flush like tfa372 did but its one of the best 128 bucks I ever spent
It's not 100% and please bear in mind I have a replica M5 front bumper so there will be minor flaws. If tfa372's bumper is oem he can attest to oem fitment but over-all this thing is spot on. Start spending your money guys! Pics: I apologize for the dirty car!!! |

I too installed mine last night. The fitment is not 100% I will be honest, like stated above it does take some shimmying to get the clips to all clip in, but for $128 you can't beat it. I was originally gonna go with the OEM M5 grilles and just cut the 5 off, but this is much cheaper and still looks great

I'm waiting for this rep version, which is the M5 Competition Package grille...minus the M5 badge of course.

take your stock chrome grill and replace the middle with the double slat from the ebay posting. they are two pieces correct? you have the shroud and the slats. Thats what i plan to do, change it up!

I think I found them, M5 Competition Package grille replica minus the M5 badge. I'm just concerned about the fit since these are not OEM.

Looking really nice.
I have replica M5 bumper but without fog light. I want to go for this mod however in Europe there are fins behind the grill which are usually close. They only open when engine is warm. I wanted to for for this but then with those closed fins, it will ruin the front look.

finally got mine...will be installing later today or tomorrow. Quality looks good actually. We'll see how fitment is. But for $118, can't really complain. Sounds like after the car has been warmed up, the grill just pops out...

Very nice. Yes, it helps if the car is warm. Factory ones will pull right out with a nice tug, but proceed at your own risk. Remember to tape off the surrounding areas just in case. Otherwise, you might jerk in the wrong direction and scratch the paint. Post pics of the new ones once installed. Good luck.

Here they are...The "just pull it" method after the car has been warmed up works flawlessly. Total install time was 10 minutes. Fitment is not as good as OEM, but it is damn close. I'd say 97% fitment. But for $118, compared to OEM price, as others have stated, cannot really complain. I actually prefer this grill without the ///M.

that looks awesome! now ive got to order. and if thats 97% fitment, i dont see how oem could be better. fits perfect for me! I have a jet black f10 so you probably wouldnt notice any slight fitment issue. love it without the m5 badge.
