Has anyone used the AutoTecknic painted reflectors?
Has anyone used the AutoTecknic painted reflectors? Curious on the fit and color match (carbon black metallic in my case). They are almost half of the price of the IND painted reflectors. $130 per pair (IND) is just too much, but I could almost justify $75/pair.
ECS Tuning - AutoTecknic Painted Reflector Caveat - they only make painted reflectors for the front and not sure how long they'll be at this price. AutoTecknic site shows them at $130 like IND. EDIT: is there a difference in the FRONT reflectors between M-sport/non-M or pre/post LCI? IND's website asks which trim level your car has, AutoTecknic's site says they fit all trim levels. On the F10s I'm pretty sure there's no difference with the front reflectors on M Sport vs Non.
FWIW, I got my painted front reflectors (and side markers too) from IND and couldn't be more pleased. Two years down the road and not once have I ever thought about the $$$, but many times I've looked at my car & smiled at the quality of their workmanship. Whatever route you choose I'd recommend to make sure that the reflectors are sanded down to a smooth & solid finish (or plan on doing it yourself) depending upon if you'll be painting them or having the vendor do it. Best aesthetic upgrade a guy can do to their F10, imo. Those orange markers are just hideous. |
