Man, I'm so jealous of those wheels. Love them! Post some pics when you put them on.

Wired up passenger side+doors for soft close and rear lock installed. 3/4 doors now have working soft close. As soon as the new soft close motor arrives I can do the last door.

Also waiting pin's for the fuse box so I can install all wires nicely.

Looked at parts to retrofit LDW (S5ADA) and LCW (S5AGA). As it seems LDW is pretty simple to retrofit as I already have kafas. LCW is not too bad either, since parts are quite cheap. Wiring has to be diy as the kit's I found cost way too much (with all needed parts and wiring). Wiring seems easy enough, mainly between rear radar sensor and then couple of wires to zgm, power and ground. Mirrors I already found very cheap.

So I guess retrofit spree continues...

I recently did new struts and H&R lowering springs on the F10. I don’t have pictures after yet but soon. I need to replace my driver front cv axle now. I didn’t remove the axle bolts when I pushed the hub down so now it’s super sloppy. 154k on the clock so they needed done regardless.

Got the rear fuse box cleaned. Still need to buy one connector to get rid of last fuse hijacker and run all wires nicely.

Found the number for the connector, but seems like it's not easy to buy since, ETK does not know the part number at all: 61139225059

I probably have to buy rear fuse box with that connector in it.

Those are the 641m wheels aren't they? Do you have the staggered ones, what size tyres are you running and do you have shots on a more sideways angle to show how they fit into the arch?

I really like those wheels but just couldn't find a set for my F11

Those are Avus AC-MB3 in 19" 8,5 ET35, i guess you could mix em up with the styling 343/351 wheels.
Tire size is 245/40/19
i'll get you some sideways shots how they fit.

They are legal in austria - so there is no rubbing, they are super strict over here

Currently trying to install the pure600. Overall a VERY hard job, possibly one of the hardest jobs you can do short of engine removal. It's messy as shit and there's essentially no room to work.

Got the stock turbo out, but currently stuck at getting the turbo oil inlet line back on. It's a catch22 of a line - you can install the engine block side first, but then it's basically impossible to install it on the turbo. You can install it on the turbo first, but then it's impossible to get into the block. All this because BMW decided that the hold down bolt hole for that spot needs to be extremely unforgiving - if you're off my even half a degree, the threads don't line up and it's not possible to get it on. It's caused by the fact that the screw itself starts off almost completely square, meaning it can't come in off angle and have the threads correct the pitch. I have no idea why BMW decided to use such a difficult bolt design when the line is so short and essentially a hardline. Been struggling with this one line for 6+ hours now, about to give up and just buy a new line and see if that changes thing.

All this while trying to fight a 20+lb turbo. You can't even install the turbo first and then worry about the line later - the diverter valve is right in front of the hold down screw, it's almost like a cruel joke by engineers to make fun of anyone who dares install a turbo with the engine inside the car.

Any tips?

Ugh, miserable. And I thought the coolant pipe bolts were bad... this sounds several degrees worse!
