Tire selection for 2015 535i

Currently running continental 245 45R18 run flats and not happy. Looking to reduce noise and get a longer tire life.

Any recommendations?

yes, Continental Extremecontact dws06. They are not run flat but they are great and they come with really good warranty included. I have them and they are huge improvement in noise reduction and ride quality over Dunlop and Continental run flat tires

It is going to be difficult, the idea is for longer life requires harder compounds which equals in louder noise. Some brands are nominally quieter but that is the general rule.

There's only two tires I'd put on this car. The conti DWS or the Michelin AS3. I've tried both and for both comfort and handling id deff go the AS3 route. After having these tires I'd never choose anything else. Read the reviews on them. Traction and handling is unmatched

I wanted to get the A/S 3+ but needed tires, like NOW and COSTCO didn't have them available so had to get the PSS's. After about 5 months I'm pretty satisfied.

The pilot super sports are even better. They're just a summer tire while the AS3 is all season, but basically the same tire.

I belive AS3+ will have longer tread wear. I currently have PSS and they are nearing end of tread (plus the weather will start to cool soon). So basically looking to change tires within a month or so. AS3+ or DWS06

EDIT: I plan to get by tires changed by the end of the month at Costco, however if any member here has take off AS3+ / DWS06 245/40/19 (4) with atleast 8/32 tread to sell then send me a PM - wouldn't mind saving some money and helping a fellow member (Also posted in classifieds).

I like my AS3+ but only for three seasons. The snow traction is underwhelming.
