Front Windows Wouldnt roll up
Hi Guys,
Dont know if any of you guys have run in to this problem, both of my windows were rolled down and when I parked I wanted to roll them back up so I used the auto roll up all the way and once it hits the top it comes back down. I restarted the car locked the car and unlocked the car and it still does it. Only the front two windows are doing this. I was wondering if any of you know a reset on the window button so I can resolve this issue? Now I have to roll it up manually right before it hits the top top so it wouldnt roll back down again. Any thoughts or inputs on this guys? Thanks, Alex

I had these a couple of times.
The dealer told me to press the start button but without the engine running. Push the window buttons down until the windows are fully open, pull it up and hold for 15-20 seconds to reset. It reoccured and I also got an Anti trap warning on the idrive. Eventually the dealer replaced the Hall sensor and the Window motor to resolve the issue. It only effected the front two windows. |

Exact same thing happened on my 2011 528i on the day I picked up the car. They took it in the shop and they had to " initialize " it. It was done in 15 minutes. I've had the car for over a month now and had no other problems with the window.
