As I understand when you want to get a replacement key through the proper channels, it'll be encoded with information tied to your VIN and CAS module, but comfort access will still not work due to our cars only having 2 keys working with comfort access at a time.

Has any one had any success of removing one of these keys from the CAS registry using tools like ESYS ? If so can you share the steps and how to add the new key ?

Trying to get a replacement for a 2nd key that was lost, and dealers are charging $160-170 to do the coding.

Hey guys, new BMW owner here... picked up a 2015 535d M Sport. Wondering if anyone was able to have the fogs on w/ DRL? I was able to get it working with the welcome lights but haven't found it w/ the DRL's. I'm using bimmercode.

Help! I was coding active high beams and the coding stopped halfway and now the head unit doesn't turn on. Have no clue why it did this as I've coded other options before this with no problem. Did I just screw something up??

Crisis averted. The first time I tried to restore it didn't let me. Did it again and all works now.

just picked up a 2015 f10. need to get my coding skills on point. d/l bunch of s/w and MOPS. and got my cable ready for E-sys. guess need i need a a copy of launcher still trying to absorb all this new info... so it begins
