Painting/tinting chrome wheels

Hi,

I found a deal on a set of chrome wheels and would ideally love a shadow chrome or gunmetal color.

Painting seems to be an expensive option so I'm wondering if a tinted clearcoat will stick to the chrome. Anyone have experience on this?

I got mine powder coated for about $450 for 4 wheels

like dzz said, you're better off getting them redone or powder coated for longevity

you drive a BMW...not a Civic
