I found this blend at the local grocer and decided to give it a shot. Normally, I have to go to the big city to the specialty store for Sadaf.

My first sourdough loaf.... 6 day process from hydrating the starter to my first bake. Pretty rewarding as it wasn't deflated or dense.

It was time for baked pork and beans. They soaked all day yesterday and I prepared them before going to bed. I set the oven timer to start after midnight for seven hours at 225°F. This morning, the house smelled delicious. Of course, I had some for breakfast. I made enough for three freezer tubs.
