F10 rear strut

2011 535iX. Rear right spring snapped. FCP Euro doesn't have the complete struct assembly. Any suggest?

Mine did this back in the day. Same side too, same year and also xdrive. We just replaced the springs because the shocks were fine.

They don’t typically come as a whole assembly to my knowledge.

I went through this and mine was EDC so it was hella annoying because I couldn't go aftermarket with out many $$$$.

The short is — the spring are matched to your VIN and are VIN specific (esp if you have m-sport etc)... call or browse BMW parts and provide them the VIN, it's likely they'll have to order them from Germany in which case you'll wait about a week. Recommended to do in pairs.

I did this myself and aside from the nerve racking compressing the spring you'll want to make sure you have replacement bolts for the bottom of the strut its huge and has to be torqued under load. you'll also need a special socket to remove the shock mount bolt.

happy to provide more tips if you have questions.. hope this helps!
