Unfortunately this what you don’t get, things can be talked about without constantly insulting everything and everyone that doesn’t agree with you or your driver/team of choice.

Here’s an example, I think LEC, VET, PER, RIC, GAS or Sainz should/will win the WDC. If you don’t agree with me, I’ll constantly post bogus memes how the FIA, Masi are stopping it from happening. Or make up stupid names for the drivers I don’t like etc.

I’m on the racing incident train. All of the historically great drivers or those that have title aspirations have the alpha dog mentality and do not have any back down in them. This leads them to regularly going over the line and clashing it out with their rivals to win so neither Max or Ham could afford to give up any corner. Move on to the next race.

Shocked to see Charles’ pace, I expected him to get walked down pretty fast from both Mercs. Hugely pleasantly surprised to see the Ferrari’s weakness when it comes to tire degradation didn’t show up here, fantastic P2.

What's taken into account is the speed and location of the incident and the risk at that particular point which is why I dispute the weak penalty handed to HAM and back a one race ban for him for an intentional hit knowing he can take on some penalty points with a low score of them.

Ah you've reappeared now that Sir 7ewis finally won a race. Is it his raw talent that won him this one? Because all I've seen him and Mercedes do is complain how RB is cheating with some kind of superior technology or how the tires are bad and so forth. However In this case, it's playing dirty that won him the race. Otherwise, care to explain such a precipitous drop in Sir 7Ewis's skills in one year?
It's been the technology all along my friend. Hamilton had its benefits for the better part of 10 years, now RB does.

It was an exciting weekend, not sure how I feel about the sprint race format but it made for some excitement so I guess it did its job.

IMO if this was a mid-field incident, it would have been deemed a Lap 1 racing incident. But because it was the WDC, a penalty was given to appease the other team.

Calling for a ban for an incident like this where there is no clear intent. IMO contact was the fault of the car that turned in, when there was space on the outside. Contact was towards the inside of the track so there was more room on the outside.

I think you are choosing the moment you are looking at the turn, they were along side at the straight, max broke later and turned in hard and he did not brake anticipating the contact. Ham did break or let off which is why max was ahead at moment of contact. IMO what Max did trying to go outside is not something you do when you have the faster car and leading the WDC and the other driver has his elbows out. Max had more to loose on that corner, he could have backed out and probably ended up passing Lewis at some point.

When Max used to charge at 7ewis in years past, being the WDC leader and faster car, he was a mature enough driver to let Max have his moments and then pass him later. That is what Max will need to learn.

There was a point on lap 1 where Max dove on the inside and Lewis had to back out and adjust his line, taking it wider to get a better ran on the straight. So you can't say no driver ever does a move like this, it always happens and someone has to back off or contact happens.

Also it's much harder for the inside car to him room when physics is pushing the car outside. Contact happened towards the inside part of the track, Max turned in too much thinking he was clear. It was the outside car that has to judge how much the inside car will push out. Max got it wrong there.

It looked like hard racing to me, no one was going to back down, it could have easily went the other way, where the inside car spun on contact also.

Like I said above, if this was a mid-field incident, it would have been deemed a Lap 1 racing incident.

The perils of risk vs reward....VER and HAM wanted the same section of track....VER's trajectory pinched off the apex....VER made contact with HAM....at 180 MPH....this was purely a racing incident.

There was almost a full carwidth room on the inside where HAM was.

You're making situation like there was no place to go and the situation was an absolute. Every weekend we see racers go around turns and they drive parallel to each other and sometimes there's contact and sometimes an accident occurs. I'm not the driver so I don't know the situation at the time but let's not act like the accident couldn't have been avoided even if HAM should have been closer to the apex. HAM was there, VER thought he was clear of HAM to make the turn, he wasn't.

The accident was bad but everyone is making the situation more than it was like these things don't happen every race weekend.

Good race today. Wheel to wheel duel, Max lost this one. He won some other ones this season, but lost this one. It was fun to watch.

Based on the onboard, it appears hammy opened up the steering wheel before the hit.

Too bad, it would have been a great battle.

What’s with the pit crews, performance was awful across the board.
