Max did not use DRS in Sector 3 which cost him about 13 km/h (~30mph) and some lap time.

Max’s ability to navigate the corners saved his P1.

Why is it that drivers go so wide in the inclined turn 3?

Does the same principle apply to nurburgring carousel? You want to go wider as possible without leaving the inclinated ramp?

It's gravity, the faster they turn into it the more they'll move to the outside.
