Anbody else docked at Port Hueneme?

Car was unloaded on the Don Juan on Friday. My CA told me another 10-14 days to get through customs! Anybody else stuck at Port Hueneme?

I'd like to see who gets their car first. If you were on the Don Juan, please post when you get the car or at least when you get a call from your dealer.

ED was great, but not worth the wait in my opinion.

Thanks in Advance!

My CA called today and said I should receive the car this Friday (knock on wood).

My car that was on the Don Juan is at the dealership now apparently (up here in WA) and I'll be picking it up tomorrow.

Wow that was fast! I'm still stuck in customs. Did either of you do Euro Delivery?

I did ED, hence the waiting for customs. It got released from customs today and now the W&W site says "liner release". No sure what that means. Guys, what does the status say on your tracking? Anything after liner release?

BTW Congrats Jason! I'm so envious!

my 550 xi still not here (ED)

My car also was on the Don Juan which came into port Hueneme on 27th August. Online status showed "in transit" until Sept 6th when I guess it cleared customs. Since then it has been showing "in finishing touches". I assume that it is still in their LA BMW center. I suspect they are fixing the scratches/dents on rear bumper while driving in France which I reported to the BMW insurance company. They had said that I should take care of the repairs when the car gets to my BMW dealer.

My CA thinks that BMW decided to fix the car at the BMW center in LA before sending it off to the dealer. Essentially, my car has been in LA for the past 12 days and no news of when to expect delivery.

Does anyone have experience with BMW fixing dents/scratches in their LA center instead of having the dealer fixing it and billing the insurance company (Allianz is the insurance provider chosen by BMW for the 14 day insurance coverage for ED). Thanks!
