BMW 535i catless downpipe with stock exhaust
Anyone have a video of a stock exhaust with a downpipe. Anything from idle to revs. Just want to hear if it sounds good.

exactly what Miroki said ^^
I'd add that COLD START is VERY noticeable it's not stock lol. It's loud but not overbearing. As soon as the cold start sequence finishes it sounds like stock inside the car idling. Driving around is a little louder but to someone that has never sat in your car they'd never tell.

I'd say do a muffler delete or cutouts if you are already installing aftermarket downpipe. IMHO, sound you'll get with aftermarket downpipe with stock exhaust is just not worth the effort and the money

My vote is for cutouts. Lets you be nice and quite when you need to, and as loud as you want when it's time to hoon.

i'm sure the exhaust tone will be a bit louder but if you're still gonna be running the OEM resonators with the stock mufflers i don't see what's the point? people want catless DP's for one to have the turbo spool up quickers and two...the sweet exhaust note you get afterwards...oh, and having a TurboSmart bov is icing on the cake! good luck with whatever you decide to do!

Thanks for the replies everyone. I currently have a muffler delete and a down pipe and tbh the drone is a bit too much for me. I think I might get my stock mufflers custom fabricated at this shop I know. It'll take a bit of the insides out like how they do for the 335i PE mod.
