F10 Side Mirror lane change light
I have a 2011 F10 535i. Non-M, does not have the power truck close, does not have rear heated seats...but I have paddle shifters?!
Alight back to my original question: I have the normal side mirrors, Can I switch the whole unit with the side lane change light? I believe it’s the LCI type? I read about the warning indicator but do not need this, just want the lane change light side mirror. Any recommendations? |

Well the side lane change light is on the fender, not the side mirror.

For LCI models they moved the signal light to the mirror hence the fender piece just being a piece of chrome trim with no light on it.
I'm sure if you get the LCI mirrors, you can just swap them then split the power from your fender signals to also power the mirror signals when you use them. Either that or also buy the chrome LCI fender pieces if you don't wish to retain the lights on your fenders. |
