Front Grill Replacement: Double Slat or Single?

Taking delivery of my new to me 2011 535i and getting ready to dress it up a little. First thing I do is usually the reflectors and grill so curious about your opinions on the two different grill types:

I have the double slats on mine... but I go back n forth really.

I do have my oem black single slats listed in classified, just FYI.

Single chrome at first but that chit had to go!

went with Carbon fiber singles...

not happy with that I decided on the Gloss Double Slats for the WIN!

Sure.... but I've got OEM chrome at home also, so I can assemble that myself. Haha.

That was my first try. I found the tabs didn't line up so I had to go the eBy route. Hopefully yours will work.

100% agreed on the chrome surround for darker color cars but i'm considering painting the surround to match my rims once I get them powder coated to a gunmetal color.
