CIC Next/Previous track buttons not working
So this issue is very intermittent but it's kind of annoying. I have a 2011 535i and when I stream music via Bluetooth, after a while, the next and previous track buttons on the steering wheel, idrive knob, and track buttons do not work. I can change the tracks on my phone, but the car's buttons do not work. They work when first connected to the car but after a few songs they stop working and I don't know why. Does something need to be updated? And it's not that my phone loses connection because the music will still be playing. If anyone knows something to fix this please let me know.

I am still on ios12 and using a iphone 10. I use spotify and never gives any issue. On the rare occasion it messes up, i disconnect/reconnect BT. What are you using for music?

Has it ever worked? I would try the idrive update that updates phone compatibility. Because after 3 phones, it is more leaning towards the idrive. Does it let you switch when plugged into USB?
