Dipstick oil extraction questions

As I don't have a low-profile jack and appropriate stands, I'm thinking of doing my next oil change via the dipstick (yes, I'm one of these lucky few to have one). I'll probably get a Sealey TP965 extractor for that purpose. Now, two questions:

1. There's a school of thought saying that a normal drain is better at removing sediment. This kind of makes sense from a gravitational perspective. On the other hand, I doubt much more sediment gets removed from the tiny drain hole. Anyway, is there any empirical evidence that this is true or false?

2. What do you guys think would be the right temperature? Obviously, the hotter the better from a flow/dissolving impurities perspective, but the vendor confirmed operating t would be too high - I'd hate to have to remove a melted plastic tube from my dipstick/sump ;-) I'm guessing 50C/120F would be safe.

Thanks.

Don’t do it! I’ve heard horror stories when going that route. But yes you will not be able to remove as much oil or harmful deposits.
