Its all up to you in terms of design. Doesn't matter if its a 5 spoke or like a 20 spoke, just make sure the rim is made properly. Cheap replicas have a reputation for cracking & breaking.

5-spoke's are easy to clean. Even the barrels. And I dig that low speed chop.

Tho having spokes is a PITA to clean I actually enjoy washing my wheels. from washing, leafblow drying to detailing them I love it!

I mean, if you buy the right brake pads, there could be minimum cleaning involved. I use EBC as I’ve had good luck with it so far. There is dust but it’s an organic pad. The dust easily comes off.

You could also use a wheel sealant that helps keep brake dust building up to a minimum. I use Dr Beasley's Matte Wheel sealant once a year along with Chemical Guy's Meticulous Matte Wheel Sealant after every wash and the brake dust literally comes off when i use my pressure washer
