$1500 Holiday Credit question
My CA told me that the $1500 holiday credit is applicable to any order placed prior to Jan 3rd. So I would be "locked in" even for delivery after Jan 3rd.
Others are being told that the car must be delivered by Jan 3rd. What is accurate? |

I've heard, and I'm certainly no expert, that you are entitled to whatever is going on at the actual contract signing time, not necessarily ordering time. Would they put it in writing on your order form agreement?

My CA told me that the 'holiday credit' applies to a car delivered OR ordered by January 3. But, who know, maybe things will get even better on January 4 If there should be a better deal offered on January 4, I believe you can then lock in the new offer, while waiting for delivery of your car...

Holiday Finance Credit amounts of either $1,500 or $2,500 are based on model. Holiday Credit must be applied to a Lease, OwnersChoice or Retail Finance contract though BMW Financial Services by January 3, 2011. The current lease offers can be found at http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/conte...aseoffers.aspx. The current finance offers, 0.9% APR on the 2011 models, can be found at http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/conte...r/default.aspx is applied directly to the contract, reducing the amount financed and is disclosed as such on the contract. Subject to credit approval. Maybe your CA can make sense of this. Good luck |

I talked to CA's at three different dealers. All said you must sign by Jan 3 and the car must be delivered within 60 days of signing. The 60 day requirement applies from the day of signing whether it's Jan 3 or Dec 18. All said they could order my spec car and have it delivered in 60 days by displacing one of their current unsold production orders with mine.

What does "CA" stand for?
Since what you are told verbally differs from what BMW published conditions state, I would get it in writing, signed by the sales manager at the dealership.
