Reason I ask it does not seem to work for me, it kick me out and I'm loosing connection after 1 mins. Been talking with their support all day, does not seem to know what the problem is.

Why pay $1000 for a bootmod3 installer to do it... when you can do it yourself for the cost of the bootmod3 license and an ENET cable. Did it in my driveway in 15 minutes and works great, on a 2011 BMW 535i xDrive plus if you have any issues PTF will help you remotely and troubleshoot any issues for you

Some people really don't know their way around technology. They want to pay for the peace of mind that someone who knows what they're doing is handling it.

This is true. I would say if you feel comfortable, go ahead on your own. If not, it's worth the extra $ for piece of mind. My concern with mine was I did not have a battery charger.

Just installed BM3 last week and what a huge difference. My car is stock + Stage 1 and feel amazing. The tune is very aggressive, it does not feel chill anymore. Before the car was more of relax feel, now I feel the car wants to race every time I jump in.
BMW did underpowered this car with the stock tune.

I'm stuck at 91 here too and MHD Stage 1 made a significant difference for me. IMO, 91 alone isn't a reason not to do it

What spark plug you guys using with BM3 ?

I am Running Stage 1 at the moment and going Stage 2 in the spring and just received the Bosch Spark Plug ZR5TPP33 today. I just realize BM3 suggest to use the NGK SILZKBR8D8S with 0.022-0.023" gap.

What should I do at this point ?
Try the Bosch with the stock pre-gap at 0.03 ?
Try the Bosch and re-gap at 0.023?
Order the NGK ?

I also have Bootmod3. I have no dyno to share, but the only dyno I care about is the 1/4 mile time. I have a 2011 f10 535i 8 speed. My first auto car ever lol. I actually enjoy it more than I thought I would even though I do miss the manual every day.

I have the OTS Stage 2 93 tune. Mods are ER 4 inch downpipe, trans tune as far as power mods.

Supporting mods I have FTP Boost and charge pipe and Amazon knockoff intercooler.

Car ran 13.438 at Bradenton on a 1.98 60' at 101.xx shifting at the default 6900. 0-60 of 5.1xx

After some tweaks where I launch in 2nd now, and shift sooner manually and by changing the shift point a bit lower, I managed a 13.2X at 103 on Dragy with a 4.9x 0-60. Waiting to run it at Orlando Speedworld in a couple weeks to get new times.

Vehicle is full weight on 20 inch wheels on Nitto 555 G2 305/35R20.

My 100 percent stock time was 14.097 at 98.xx, so almost 8 tenths from a downpipe and OTS tune. I'll take that everyday.

Coming from low 12/high 11 second Mustang and Camaro cars, and even my (deceased) 550i F10, I am infinitely impressed with the N55 with all its limitations.

Extreme Powerhouse had the best deal for me. Price was the same as others but it included the hardware that most places sell separately and at an inflated price.

Those numbers make you realize how fast cars have gotten these days. They're decidedly "average" today, but 10-15 years ago those would have been some handsome numbers. Heck, the E60 M5 did the quarter mile at 12.8 on paper!

Yes. At 36 years old, 12s is rocket fast for me. All the cars running 9s that are driven to and from the track are Amazing to me. I find high 11s the sweet spot.

I saw an M4 with full bolt on + Stage 2 + met running 10.5 on Youtube, now I wonder if the M2 can do a 10sec flat ?

I do, I haven't noticed a difference. Maybe you're stomping on the gas harder now because of how smooth it is?

I do as well. Not sure about the mileage equation as I am running E85 most of the time but switching to colder plugs definitely solved my high rpm stutter and timing pulls.

Haha maybe a little bit. But even just going to the super market and back I’m just cruising and I’m getting 18mpg. Terrible.

I get on average 19mpg. And that's high way driving.

It hurts!
