Production complete but release to carrier wait is already 12 days
The production my 550i has been completed but it has not been released to the carrier for already 12 days. Has anybody exprianced such a delay at this stage? The lenght of this process seems fairy uncommon as there seem to be more comon delays in the port etc. Is it possible that the tracking system is not aligned with the actual process stage?

I asked the dealer for the vin number and the vessel name and I was told initially that they have the same info I have. I did not buy it and now they are "looking into it". I hope I get it in time for the July 4 weekend

I was the same way - tracked the ship every day and even captured webcam pics as it went through the Panama Canal.
