550 n63 engine problems??

My dad went to the mechanic today in Staten Island he said with the battery you have to program it to start it.

He's wrong. Not registering the battery just shortens its life... UNLESS you installed the weaker, 95ah battery. If you installed a 95Ah battery when the factory battery is 105Ah, the battery may not have enough power to start the car.

95ah battery starts car just fine even at 15f bellow. I believe 95ah is standard 105ah is optional. If this was battery related jump starting the car would still work. Something else is going on. Bad starter/ bad ground/ electrical
