Upgrade from CIC to NBT HU quetion.

I'm trying to upgrade my f10 with CIC head unit to a NBT HU.i bought a NBT hu head unit and a Idrive controller from the same wrecked car.I wanted to install a 12inch display,So i bought a chinese android nbt display.Trouble is regardless what i did ,nothing showed on the screen.I thought it was supposed to be a plug and play thing. My question is what else do i need to make it work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

youll need more parts, ZGW - Central Gateway Module is one of them, which has to be coded to the car.. adapters and more..

Just did this. Wasn't terribly hard. I had a metal ZGW but luckily got away with being able to use a 4SK because mine is a base 550 6MT.

Make a harness for can2 lines. Tap at ZGW wiring to the quad lock. Wire in the mic directly to the NBT if you have a combox which needs to be removed and MOST looped. Same with ZGW which needs to be MOST looped. Fsc packs. ZBE button converter if you have the 10 pin controller. Etc etc

Or buy an emulator.

Is it possible to make the 10 pin controller work with nbt? I’m seeing mixed opinions. I have every thing but that nbt controller.
