Can you code TPMS Rdc with BimmerCode

My Rdc unit failed (2011 550i MSport) and I replaced it (under the rear bumper). That obviously didn't do it because the Rdc needs to be recoded. Then I used BimmerCode, recoded the CAS module (in novice mode by changing one of the parameters) and that somehow established the connection to the new unit and I got pressure/temp info. However, that seems to be temporary. If I turn off the ignition, I get the TMP error again and if I check with BimmerLink, I see the error "RDC unit/module not coded" or something very close (didn't write it down). I can repeat this process to make it connect but connection is lost once the ignition is turned off.

Does anyone know if I can code the new Rdc unit with BimmerCode? I tried to find documentation on the BimmerCode website but could not.

Thanks in advance.

Confirming that Bimmergeeks ProTool coding software was able to do this (I just did it). I am not in any affiliated with them. Just letting people know so that they don't pay the dealer $1000 for this repair (I heard that's what people get quoted).

You do need to buy their bluetooth adapter though. Their software doesn't interface with other bluetooth adapters as far as I can tell.

Their coding license is $79.99 and adapter $49.99. Plus, the part which was $286 with shipping. So $416 total. Easy DIY.
