Question Retrofit Electronic steering column adjustment

Hi guys,

I'm looking to retrofit my steering column and go from an manual adjustment to an electronical one. I got all the parts down except the cables, or just the 4 pin connector plug that goes from the FRM to the two motors on the steering column

I tried searching for that cable on realoem but no luck there,

do any of you got a part number for either the cable or just the 4 pin connector so i can order it?
this is valid for f01, f07 f10 and f11

it should be the female version of this:

Thank you

Sorry OP, the F10 harness only comes in two pieces, the primary main cabin harness, which will include the hookup to the steering column, the other major harness is the audio/multimedia harness. Both are listed in REALOEM.

Unless there is a specific "repair" harness, you out of luck.

If you want to connect the wires/connectors between two units in your car outside the FA of your car, you will need to fabricate one, or buy a complete harness off of eBay and pull out the parts you need.

BMW makes it very, very difficult to "upgrade" their cars on purpose.

Also, REALOEM only list catalog parts, which are just a subset of part numbers actually used on the production assembly line as stocking every variation of parts would be a logistical nightmare.

If you need the connection diagram, ask...

Hi,
I want to retrofit the electronic steering column adjustment, but I've a fear, the steering wheel zero position will be misaligned after the retrofit. Is there a way to remove the old column and install the new one having the original position?
Thanks
Yom
