528i M-sport bumper, diffuser, spoiler, lip, grille, exhaust
I humbly wanted to share pictures of my 2012 528i mods. Bought a used OEM M-Sport front bumper from one of the member here who lost his F10 during Hurricane Sandy. The gentleman hooked me up with a complete set and fair price. The rear M-Sport bumper was bought from ebay, perfect fit and no issues in installation. I will post more pictures as soon as I install the front lip, rear spoiler, rear M5 quad diffuser and exhaust next week. I also included picture of my daily driver VROD.

http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=751384 bought the wheels from ebay vendor need-4-speed on a "best offer" deal. do not bid, its better to call them directly. Rohana RC10 20x9 35 offset 20x10 40 offset the rear offset and concave shape is just perfect! heres a video on a e92 with the exact size and offset: Last edited by sgt_gman2005; 12-09-2012 at 10:09 PM.. |

Car looks exceptional!
If you dont mind, post more details and info on the exhaust. I know a lot of 528 guys are looking into quad, and yours will be a very good example. Love the V-Rod too. Cheers! |

I am getting ready to do this on my 535 (m5 diffuser)can you explain what needs to be trimmed on the insert piece or is it self explanatory once old diffuser is off car? Also do you have part numbers of what needs to be purchased? Awesome transformation by the way. That exhaust has to be the best looking $250 ever.

it's self explanatory. Just trim the excess plastic adapter in order to fit (as shown below). I trimmed mine and left the mounting points also for the non-msport bumper. here is the link for the diffuser: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462 |

WARNING! This exhaust is not "loud" but ideal for individuals who wants a deeper tone and budget in mind.
Finally, I installed the quads this afternoon and I am happy with the results. The sporty tone of this exhaust is ideal for me particularly with the family during travels. So far, I drove 30 mins from the shop to my house and did not experience any drone from 1200-3000 rpm / 55-75 mph ranges. Aside from the 100% all-stainless steel construction and inexpensive set-up ($250 hardware +$150 installation), i only have one gripe which is the 3.5" tailpipe that is too big for my taste. The hardware came from an e60 quad set-up exhaust from this vendor (http://www.ebay.com/itm/280926604116...116%26_rdc%3D1) and modified to fit the F10. This is the exact exhaust from umnitza except for the $700+shipping price tag (http://www.umnitza.com/e60-5series-q...st-p-5678.html). Modifying the e60 exhaust to f10 is not too bad. It has the same length requirements and good mandrel bends to start with. The exhaust shop had to repositioned the hangers and tips and I was out in two hours labor time. So far i only have pictures that I took from the exhaust shop and a video from an e60 with this ebay-special exhaust. Will post more tomorrow. Last edited by sgt_gman2005; 12-16-2012 at 06:33 AM.. |
