Hey everyone especially titomi MadBimmeRad what do you guys think of the speed of the app. I’ve mostly been testing the app on WiFi, but I’m just starting to use it on a cellular connection. It seems good to me. But just curious how you all feel about it?

Thanks

I don't see any issues with the speed of the app, my problem is finding my glasses 😂😂

Now that you ask nah... it's alright. If I have to mention something, I would say loading the forum list could be quicker. And maybe loading new post with attachment after it was posted.
I'm on the wifi most of the time too.

Can we get a feature to report users as scammers/spam when clicking on their profile? The amount of scammer users is crazy right now.

You can do it by clicking on the three dots at the top right hand side of any given post.

We are working on an even more specialized version for spam in the near future that will be a further refinement of the functionality

Typically what I've seen is me posting a WTB post and getting PMs that are pure scam, not replies to my post.

Ok gotcha. We will build that into our new spam reporting feature

I noticed the thread size is larger when clicking into a category and decreases as you scroll down, I'd expect the smaller size from the beginning based on my settings.

This is consistently happening?
Is thus only happening for the new posts section?
I can't reproduce this yet so I'm trying to gather as much info as possible, so anything more you notice is welcome

Inconsistent, definitely not every time and not only on new post section although I've noticed new post section to be the most affected.

Hi I’ve just released version 5.2.23 which I believe fixes this issue. If you notice more problems could you let me know?

Thanks!

If I reply to a post which was itself a reply to a long post, then the entire post becomes even longer.

Now, a dot appears on the bottom RHS of the screen and you have to hit it to see the entire post. It's similar to the feature where you have to tap an embedded link inside a post to see images

Ok I see what you are talking about. Yup we’ve done a lot to shorten quotes. We display long quotes in an expandable box and also when composing messages we will auto shorten quotes. Let’s see what long term effect it has 😀

Positive, I'm sure

Please check the post above. It seems like the posts are getting cut off at a certain point/length and I can't reply.

Also, the screen doesn't scroll up so I'm typing blind - see image below

Sorry could you explain the first problem again? I’m not totally following for some reason.

As for the second problem, a few people have reported the same exact problem. For some reason I can’t reproduce it. Are you able to drag the text area at all?
