I have been searching, with no luck, for a sound clip of catted and catless dp on stock exhaust. Anyone have any they can share? I am curious how much each one changes the sound of the stock exhaust. I have searched the forum and online but have found only videos with other aftermarket exhaust components. Thanks.

I tried and failed to find the same clips before I decided to put on my catted DP. fwiw I was shocked how quiet it is.

If someone installed it without telling me, I probably wouldn't have noticed the difference...maybe a slightly deeper hum on cold start, and maybe a little more turbo spool

The stock mufflers absolutely murder any kind of sound. They're very well designed mufflers to be honest.

When my 535 was catless it was definitely slightly louder, however to the untrained ear it will sound the same. Cold start was noticeably louder though

Thanks all. That may also explain why Im not getting any pops with my burble tune also. I really only want a bit more sound out of it, so maybe worth keeping the stock exhaust then.

If you want a bit more sound, just keep stock downpipes and get an axelback system. MPPE, Remus, Dinan, all are good options. You'll still hear burbles as well.
