2011 528 accelerator sensitivity

I see where there was a software upgrade for the jerky throttle on the 335's. Our 528 feels like a golf cart. Accelerator does not accelerate the car but feels more like a golf cart, on or off. It is very hard to accelerate at what I would call a normal around town pace. Your either feather it and creep off or press it a bit more and it snaps your neck back. We just took delivery 2 weeks ago and I specifically asked that all software upgrades were applied and was assured they were.

Anyone seen a solution for this yet? Beside the iDrivemecrazy interface this is really a big issue which I hope gets addressed soon.

Solution= drive in sports mode

Otherwise 8 speed auto feels that way

yep. Or get the sprint booster. You think this IDrive is hard to use? The current version is a walk in the park compared to pre 2009.

Yeah, same here - this has been discussed many times - I drive in Normal mode on motorways exclusively these days. In Sports mode the car gives you the response you'd expect in urban driving.
