Thanks! Sorry for the delayed response. Foliatec is the same as Plastidip (spray paint), but ihas better durability as it is resistant to degreaser etc.

Can you please help me with this. Originally I wanted to put OEM 343M wheels on my F11 M550d LCI, but found out I would need a 5mm spacer upfront to clear brake calipers. I am generally against spacers, especially the ones which are not hub centric (without lip). The Avant Garde M355 are ET35 upfront, which is 1mm difference vs OEM 343M. Do you think using 10mm spacers (the smallest one that comes with a lip) will poke the 255/35/20 wheels pass the fenders on M355? Can you please make measurement and take picture from above the fender.

Also, do you experience any vibrations at highway speeds? I keep reading on poor quality on Avant Garde wheels (bore size not correct, few 0.xxmm bigger, bents wheels from new, etc..)

Looks awesome. Are you happy you went with the springs? Also where did you order from? What's the part number if you have them. Looking into lowering my 528xdrive it should be same springs that you used

I am quite happy with the springs. They take a bit of getting used to: they do improve the turn-in and overall handling, but they also transmit all of the road and wheel imperfections.

I live in Belgium and purchased my springs from a local independent shop. Purchase and installation came to about 700 Euro.

For both the 535xi and 528xi, according to the ACS web site, the part numbers are:
Front: 313 321 0110
Rear: 335 321 0310

I usually run 10mm spacers (hub centric) up front on my Avantgarde M355 and they are perfectly flush. The front wheels are, as you say, 20x9" ET35, so running 10mm spacers will make them the same as ET25 and thats 100% flush with the fender. The spacers are currently off now due to an appointment with the BMW dealer next week, but I'll see if I find some pictures.

I also run 20mm spacers on my Avantgarde M434 21x9" ET40 (front wheels). That is a bit more aggressive but no problems with rubbing etc.

I'm quite happy with the Avantgarde wheels. I got a small bend in my rear M355 wheel, but it was straightened out so no worries. One of my rear M434 wheels cracked seven places during three years, so I had to buy a new one. Very disappointed that they did not give me a new one as it was clearly due to bad production of that single wheel. Overall I'm happy vith the wheels (price vs value).

Just passed 100 000 miles a week ago and still a dream to drive. Picked it up from detailing yesterday and had to take a quick shot.

Since you have both wheels setup (summer and winter) from Avant Garde for some time, how are you satisfied with quality. Any bents or cracks? I have read several bad reviews on AG being "soft" and bents easily when hitting potholes.

I am looking into 20" M355 since I love that rears are 10.5" wide, but I am also considering just going OEM M5 M343, but rears are "only 10".

I'm "OK" satisfied with the quality.

I've had to fix a bendy rear winter wheel once.

I also needed to replace one of my rear summer wheels as it cracked seven (!) places during three years. I'm really disappointed that neither the dealer or Avantgarde got me a new rear wheel for free, as it was clearly manufacturing defect. Apart from that, I've been happy about the quality of the 21" summer wheels.

Bottom line: I think Avantgarde offers good value for money. If it wasn't for their crappy customer service regarding the manufacturing defect of my rear summer wheel, I'd be positive all the way. But due to that, I'll probably never buy a new set of wheels from this company.

I'd go original if I were you, as you don't have to bother about quality at all in that case. However, I'd probably think of another set than the M434s, as they don't have the concavity that suits the F10 (just my opinion)

Thanks for honest input. I have M434 atm, but the M343 are the M5 wheels with best concavity I could find. What are yours suggestion. I am also thinking about M345 in 19", since I think its best compromise about looks/performance and have a little bit more tyre for softer ride.

Personally I love the M345s in 19". I've heard they are pretty expensive, but if you could get a hold of a set for an acceptable price they fit the car well. I also like the M303 in 20" on F10/11 (originally for F01). M408 could be a good fitment as well.
