Anyone tried it? I see ppl using the G30 or G01 screens. Anyone attempted a G11/G12 7 series 10.25 screen on their NBT retrofit? Please ping me if you have

I've never seen a G series screen in a F10. Are you confusing it with this retrofit?

I've been considering it myself since I tried the Android HU route from the link you posted and didn't like how it worked, quite clunky with the integration into the OEM system. |

So my concern is that not all G series screens are the same dimensions. G30 and G01 have been used/retrofitted successfully. My question is specifically about the G11/G12 7 series screen. I was just looking to see if someone indeed had done this and had tips...since its not a straightforward swap (bracket and overall dimensions are different)

nice!! that is what im looking for..(even though their description is weird as in says g11 but in the details says g30 screen. But I get the idea, it requires modifications which I can probably attempt. Thanks

I bought NBT Evo retofit a few years ago and seller claims it's G11 screen.
It looks pretty simple, you would just take off the F10 screen, remove screen but keep housing. Then remove back of G11 screen and attach the front on top of F10 screen bezel. Looks pretty stock, only downside to this setup is pressing buttons at the bottom of the screen is slightly awkward but you get used to it. |

I did, but I went a little overboard.. I actually found a wrecked m5 that had the aftermarket pop out screen, I bought it because it came with the bracket/bezel that fits nicely behind the pop-out screen since they don’t sell just that bracket. I then swapped out the aftermarket screen with the OEM g11/g12 touch screen for a perfect fit.
