M5 Calipers Retro 5 series

Hi everyone! I need some help, i been think about swaping my 2011 535ix calipers to m5 ones, my questions are
Do i have to do front and back? I just want the front ones
Do i have to chance lines?
Do i need extra parts besides the adapters

I believe there's a few threads here with information regarding upgrading brakes from other models, including the M5. Give the search function a shot.

I do know that you need custom adapters to mount the calipers, and from what I've read you don't have to do the rear, but if you do, you'll need adapters there as well. I believe "Tronik" is who makes them, and they come from Russia. I'm not sure on needing different lines, but I wouldn't think so.

I'm also looking to do this in the future myself.

Yes i have seen the adapter the cost around $300, thank you so much, im gonna search around to see some DIY

You'll either need to cut your dust shields, or replace them with OEM M5 ones. I'd suggest the latter.

Are the pads plug sensor the same
