As far as N54s go... I don't see what problem this is solving (and TBH I only watched like 4 mins into it). But he says he wants bigger vac port because the stock one is too small and having larger ones allows the turbos to stay spooled longer? Sounds like something that adjustable BOVs can fix (stronger springs).
I understand the theory behind it, but it seems like a lot of time and work for a bandaid fix when the proper fix is just to adjust your aftermarket BOVs. That aside, N55 BOVs are electronically-actuated, and even the early N55s with PWG use a vacuum pump and do not rely on IM vacuum for it. So this would be totally useless on an N55 (more so than an N54).
