Can't wait to see how that goes. I'd like to see Doubles too with the HOD.

Thanks... With a little bit more tweak to upper rpm boost and one less passenger in the car next time hopefully I can do better 3rd gear pull lol.

Then I'll do Helix OD and call it a day... I might go two maps pump for winter and e85 for summer because I don't know how e85 going to work in Chicago winter.

Good stuff. Can't wait to find and fix my leak. I'm keeping my AZ-MCRacer inlet. I fitted it with part of the stock grommet so there's no unmetered air happening at that point. I think my leak is at the valve cover which i don't have prior to the DS tune. Which means his tune found my weak points when setting the target to 22psi.

Ah so you cut part of the gasket from the stock inlet and used that to seal the bigger inlet pipe?

When is he doing another run of those!

I am just wondering if he is getting me to 20psi now and adjust tune for timing then how much I can get out of Helix. I think lpfp stage 2 is helping as that is one of the things David Shoup asked me about before I bought his tune. I think I am also going to get the breather oil cap to help with crankcase pressure.

Not sure what the combo of a upgraded lpfp and helix can actually do. Just keep in mind there's going to be engine limits as the N55 is not reinforced. If you can clear the 500-550whp I think that would be the limits of a semi dependable street build.

If I can do 550whp then I am happy. As long as I am not WOT every stop light and every day all the time then I don't think 550whp would be an issue. I do not plan on taking it further then that. I know people saying you don't need lpfp upgrade if you go Helix, but I think with straight E85 it is must to have a stage 2 lpfp to keep up with demand. I could be wrong and you might prove me wrong once your car is done tuning.

500whp is a lot of power, key being whp. Be careful and responsible with that power as it can quickly get out of control on you in a dangerous way. My recommendation would be to take a few autocross courses or get some track time to know your limits. I know when my car is at its limits, however once this tune is done I'm going to have relearn my car.

I am AWD so it is different for me compare to your RWD plus I run sticky summer tires.

I don't think the demand is the issue with the LPFP I think it's the compatibility with full e85, meaning the ethanol will ruin the pump.

Not sure why David Shoup asked me, "are you at least running stage 2 lpfp?" Even though he knew I am only using 93 octane and had 0 clue regarding my Helix OD plans. I think there is a psi difference too between the OEM pump vs stage 2 pump. But honestly I would love to go back to OEM lpfp if lpfp stage 2 is useless.

i run the 525 Hellcat pump. On e30 e40 never had a problem with y 450 on e50. Soon as i went pass that the e85 put a strain on the EKPM3 and left me stuck a couple of times. My advice. If your plannning onrunning e50+ get yourself a 525 hellcat pump where the fuel pressure rises with the boost and an ekpm3. If your lower then you should be fine.

Do you mean bpm4? My car already got ekpm3 Module and I always get the power too high for the pressure Code. That is I rather go back to stock pump lol, than spending 700 dollars on a module. We will see how it goes and maybe I will go bpm4 route if needed.

Side note, car is completely different on a 20psi tune.

Did you ask David about the lpfp at all or has he said anything?

No i have not asked.

Pros and cons on our fueling choices.

Mine takes care of top end fueling but makes a metal clanking sound occasionally.

Yours holds good pressure up top too but could potentially melt your top hat or ekps or both or have a hose pop off.

People using meth could blow up their car either by no ecu control under detonation or worse a line breaks loose.

I am going to get Helix OD soon hopefully. I am running lpfp stage 2 for over a year now. I will remove the back seat next time I am getting oil change done to see how everything looks.
