That kit is capable of 620whp... I bet you can get 550whp with pump gas on it. I am not going to waste money switching over unless I had a low mileage newer 2016/17 model. But looks like a good option if you going to pay 2500 on pure stage 2 then might as well on bb 3.3 as it comes with almost everything for FBO.

He said he could get the bb3.3 to spool just about as fast as the speed tech kit which, from what I have seen, has less lag than the PS2. But this is reading marketing materials, hard to say otherwise. Maybe I should ask him for some bb3.3 sample data files to see when boost is coming in hard and how many lbs it can run.

It's all in the tune. My ps2 custom tune makes 570 @20psi on race fuel. Big boost customer service is garbage. Manifold is great. Turbo is great. If your xdrive there is no mount for that kit yet so ull run into an issue. Rwd will have no problems.

Also, since they've got it listed for a 525i, I'm assuming that there's not too much as far as chassis differences that all of these parts listed will fit our 535s?

THANKS! I'm enjoying lurking on this kinda stuff as I piece together a list of things I want to do down the road as funds become available lol.
Grab the part numbers off the site and find the cheapest way to get em. Mines was amazon

Rev 1.3 logs

Still a little laggy under 3k rpm. Check out the delta from boost target to actual. At 3k rpm only 10.8 PSI

https://datazap.me/u/bmwdoubles/run-...#38;zoom=0-124

I will say the car fees stronger than it ever has. I'm sure the e50 is a contributor.

Run 3 looks good. You hit boost much faster than I do. Hope he can correct mine.

The boost falls off quickly with this new revision but same thing happen previously and he fixed it in last revision so hopefully he can help me hold the boost a little longer till 6200-6300k rpm.

Shouldn't you have more boost than that doubles with your HOD?

Yeah I have my 2.5 tmap right because the 3.5 was giving me errors. We should be able to pull out 20-22psi on the 2.p sensor and we'll go from there. I'm still early in my revision with DS. He's doing good work right now It's just been a bit slow with the back and forth. So in due time, I'm confident he'll have me running strong.

When I was overboosting I could read up to 30 psi on 2.5bar, so I don't think we need 3.5 bar sensor because we will never be pushing that high.

Here's my last run with D Shoup. It looks roughly like over 380 whp with these calculations.

442 ft-lb @ 5356Rpm

Look at torque act.clutch nm
https://datazap.me/u/bmwdoubles/run-...8;data=3-14-23

Then convert nm to torque
https://www.metric-conversions.org/e...oot-pounds.htm

Then calculate using rpm and torque
https://spicerparts.com/calculators/...que-calculator

Then multiply 15% drivetrain loss, take that number and minus it from the hp to get your real whp.

Grant it these are very rough estimates without a dyno. It's ok with 17 PSI. Let's see if I can hit this 550whp mark.

We're working on getting power down low since the manual and my hardware is laggy down there.

I'm currently as a fast as a 550i stock or an e90 M3 stock in regard to numbers obviously a time slip will be the real truth or a lap time. Keep in mind I didn't rev this thing all the way out so I could actually be clearing 400whp. There's some hesitation at the top we're also working out so I'll wait to we have that cleared.

I need to crush those 5.0's on track

Mr. Shoup coming through today!
Rev 1.5 at 19psi produces a smidge over 400whp

https://datazap.me/u/bmwdoubles/run-...38;data=3-5-14

He mentioned 500whp is going to need more PSI. I'm guessing around 20whp per PSI so maybe 24-25psi to reach 500whp.

We'll see.

From what I have read don't go by torque act MHD as that can be very misleading. I think per Pure 17psi is 400/425whp so 19 would be around 450/480.

That's awesome. I thought that the PS2 with HOD would give you enough fuel to hit higher boost levels. I see you are 1 to 1.5 PSI off of target. Does he expect to be able to pull more PSI out of it?

Yeah we're anticipating 20psi
