There you go-I had about the same fuel level, but I was in the car. I weigh about 230.

That is the reason I haven't gotten the dinan because I don't want to pay $3k for a tune and then when I add mods I'd have to discard it for another tune.
I ended up running a 12.5 at 111.7MPH the other day at a different track. That days times were messed up due to high humidty at that track.

Im not looking for a tune for the flaps anymore. I ended up removing the exhaust flaps because they leaked. The leaking exhaust flaps were causing the loss of backpressure which was affecting the spool up time on the turbos. The car felt so much slower with the flaps leaking. The reaction time from the time you stepped on the gas pedal and the car actually starting to move was dramatically increased. I ended up replacing the piping from the first set of cats off the downpipe and deleting the second set of cats. The car fells much faster now and the reaction time is back to the way it was. Heres a pic.

The Dinan Tune is completly worth the money and once they come out with an airbox for the car, it will add a good amount of HP to the current tune. An aftermarket exhaust system would also help alot and a tune is really not needed for that either.

Im planning on replacing the resonator with an x-pipe this weekend to try to get a little bit louder exhaust sound out of the car. I really dont want to spend $3-4K on an exhaust system nor do I want a loud exhaust all the time.

womp womp looks like Dinan can now take a rest with the F10 550 cars BMS easily outperforms it for fraction of the price.

What does a non Xdrive run with BMS stage 1? Are there any times out there?

Would like to know this as well...think I'm going to pull the trigger on BMS Stage 1 and will at least post video timing of improvements over stock (no fancy tickets). Will be interesting to see what happens as opposed to the videoed approx. 4.5 0-60 of Dinan Stage 2

If it's even close, will be very impressive considering the $

did you run high octane fuel and did you have your tires at max psi, all this makes a difference, down pipes no cats also help.

Agreed. I've yet to see a RWD with BMS 1/4 mile times. I ran 12.7 112 on my 550i with Dinan stage 2 with a 2.1 60". I'd be curious to see what sort of times and traps BMS on RWD does for comparison.

Cool. Would he be running with DP's and race gas? I'd be more interested to see what a stock RWD car with only stage 1 and 93 octane would do.

Ohhhhh.... so this is what DME tuning was doing in 2011???? Then decided to show dinan how it's supposed to be done?

10 years now, but I'll give it a shot. Anyone have any new input on Dinan stage 2 for N63? I actually have had it on my 2013 550 for a couple years now, and it seems intermittent. I don't think it always works. At some point I lost it due to updates from dealer, and so I had it reinstalled by local performance shop. Still not sure if its even there anymore.
