DAB Radio question
Hi.
Daily I drive a 520 D 2011, with the DAB radio. Last week I had a BMW X5 on loan while my car was on service . I noticed that this car had more DAB radiostations than I have in my car, but thought i had something to do with DAB in my car vs DAB+ in the X5. Today I have a Audi A6 loaner, and this car also has several stations more than I do in my car. The Audi has DAB and not DAB+. Anyone know the reason for the difference in amount of stations in the different cars? BTW I find the BMW far better than the A6 Andreas |

Could it be that the loaners you had have been driven further afield and have picked up stations that you can't get from your local transmitter? Did you try listening to some of these stations that aren't listed in your own car? If you couldn't pick them up, chances are that's what has happened.
I have a dab radio at home that I often take away with me on holidays. It has local stations listed (that I can't delete) that are three hundred miles away with no hope of listening to them. Hope this helps. |
